Fawad Hussain hopes PSL4 would be last edition to be played outside Pakistan

ISLAMABAD — Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has expressed the hope that PSL-4 would be the last edition of the event being played outside Pakistan.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the campaign “ Maidan Sajana Hai, Pakistan ki Shan Barhana Hai”, in connection with Pakistan Super League 4 at Dubai Sunday night.

Fawad also hoped that the glimpses of National Stadium Karachi and Qaddafi Stadium Lahore would be seen in the upcoming PSL matches.

He said Pakistan was moving towards a bright future, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan who has changed the focus of foreign policy within six months time.

He said that during the past few years Pakistan’s role in the Middle East had diminished but now Pakistan was regaining its international stature.

He said that Pakistan was an important stakeholder in the Middle East peace process.

Fawad said that Pakistan had become part of a dispute since the 1980s but now Pakistan has come out of this dispute and earned its place. Pakistan took action against the terrorists and extremists which had no parallel in the past.
