PESHAWAR (Staff Report) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced to spend Rs1 billion on special scholarships to students of the province to study in top educational institutions in the country and abroad.
According to statement, the provincial government has allocated another Rs500 million for research and innovation in the public sector universities.
More than Rs96 million were released under Faculty Development Support Programme which is aimed at extending financial support to the faculty members during their M.Phil and Ph.D studies.
The provincial government was also constructed 50 new colleges, that will be given a status of degree awarding institutes, in different districts across the province.
