RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army troops have shot down an Indian spy quadcopter in Azad Kashmir’s Bagh Sector along Line of Control, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
“Not even a quadcopter will be allowed to cross LOC, In Shaa Allah,” Major General Asif Ghafoor, the head of military’s media wing, said in a tweet (along with a picture of the downed aircraft).

Earlier today, Islamabad summoned the Indian Acting Deputy High Commissioner to Foreign Office and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupations forces along the Line of Control.
A woman was martyred and seven other civilians, including two women and three children, sustained splinter injuries in the latest ceasefire violation by India along the LoC, in Athmuqam, Shahkot Sector on December 31, 2018.
The Indian forces along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary were continuously targeting civilian populated areas with heavy weapons. In 2018, the Indian forces have carried out more than 2350 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary, resulting in the martyrdom of 36 innocent civilians, while injuring 142 others, the Foreign Office said in a statement.

Pakistan shares a 3,323-km-long border with India of which 221 km of the International Boundary and 740 km of the Line of Control fall in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
