ABU DHABI – Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars in the latest encounter of the ongoing Pakistan Super League at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday.
Batting first, Lahore set a target of 125 runs with Haris Sohail scoring 43 and David Wiese contributing 26 to the total. Tymal Mills sent three batsmen to the pavilion.
In response, Peshawar Zalmi clinched the target with one ball and four wickets in hand as Misbah scored 59. He was also awarded the Man of the Match award.

Zalmi’s bowling has been superb in this season. They have taken a wicket every 15.6 deliveries (the best of any team), with an economy of 7.45rpo (the best of any team).

Both teams had earlier clashed on Feb 17 at Dubai where Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars by seven wickets.
Despite loss to Quetta Gladiators last night, Zalmi are placed on the second spot with 10 points.
Qalandars have so far won three matches and lost four from seven matches whereas Peshawar Zalmi won five and lost three from their eight matches.
