NAB summons Shehbaz Sharif on May 13 in connection with probe into LWMC

LAHORE – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif in connection with a probe into Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC).

NAB has issued a notice to Shehbaz Sharif, directing him to appear before it in person to record his statement in LWMC inquiry on May 13.

It is pertinent to mention here that Shehbaz Sharif is in London at present in connection with his treatment.

Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Parliamentary party has appointed Rana Tanvir Hussain as chairman PAC in place of Shehbaz Sharif and Khawaja Asif as PML-N parliamentary leader in NA amid rumours in the air that Shehbaz Sharif will not return to Pakistan.
