Supreme Court to hear Mumtaz Qadri’s petition tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (Online) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan will resume hearing of appeal filed by Mumtaz Qadri, killer of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer, against the verdict of Islamabad High Court on Monday.

The interior ministry had also submitted a writ petition in the apex court against the court verdict for the removal of terrorism charges.

A three-judge bench of apex court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa would hear both the petitions.

Notices have been served to the petitioners.
