WASHINGTON (News Desk) – The Pentagon on Tuesday said that United States’ jet planes have targeted a suspected cash store of middle east based militant group Islamic State in Mosul city of Iraq.
A statement by the spokesman Lieutenant Commander Ben Tisdale, said that bulk cash site was used by terrorist group to distribute money among different factions of ISIS to fund different terror related activities.
“We estimate in the millions of dollars … from all their illicit stuff: oil, looting, extortion,” Tisdale’s statement added.
The statement however did not carry any information if there were any casualties in the airstrikes or not.
