Pakistan skipper Babar Azam recently met legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar in the USA.
The Men in Green arrived in Dallas on Saturday (June 1) to start their preparations for the upcoming tournament.
Gavaskar, who is in the USA for his role as a commentator with the broadcast team, took the opportunity to connect with Azam.
`The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their official X handle, capturing the friendly interaction between the two cricket icons.
In the video, Babar and Gavaskar can be seen shaking hands and engaging in a pleasant conversation, highlighting the camaraderie between the cricketing greats.
Pakistan’s journey begins in Dallas, where they will take on co-host USA on June 6. This will be followed by matches against India on June 9 and Canada on June 12 in New York. Their final league match against Ireland is scheduled for June 16 in Florida.
