Will Shahid Afridi continue to play international cricket even after World T20?

DUBAI (News Desk) – Most of Shahid Afridi fans were left heart broken when Boom Boom announced that he would be retiring from international cricket after World T20 2016, however just one month ahead of mega event there is a good for them. Because the cricketer has hinted at reconsidering his retirement decision in a latest interview.

“There is a lot of pressure from my family and friends that I should not retire from T20 format of international cricket,” Afridi said in an interview with ESPNCricInfo.com. He further added there was no real talent coming out of Pakistan whose place I was taking, hence there is a chance that I can play more.

Boom Boom said that first he wants to see how good he can perform in upcoming World T20 before reverting the decision of his retirement.

I have been in good form, my fitness is good and I want to see how much I contribute towards the journey of my team in World T20, he said.
