India Beat Pakistan By Six Wickets In Womens T20 World Cup

DUBAI – India defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the 7th match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday.

In the match held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Pakistan women’s team won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 105 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

The Indian women’s team comfortably chased the target of 106 runs in 18.5 overs with 4 wickets remaining. Shafali Verma was the top scorer for India with 32 runs.

Earlier, Nida Dar was the top scorer for Pakistan with 28 runs, while Muneeba Ali scored 17, captain Fatima Sana 13, and Syeda Aroob Shah 14. No other player could reach double figures.

For India, Arun Dhaty Reddy took 3 wickets, Shreyanka Patel took 2, while Asha Subhana, Renuka Singh, and Deepti Sharma took one wicket each.
