About 80 militants killed in Khyber Agency, says ISPR

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – As many as 80 terrorists were killed and about 100 others injured as Pakistan army makes gains in Khyber Agency.

 

At least seven soldiers also embraced martyrdom in the operation Khyber-II, the second phase of operation Zarb-e-Azb.

 

“The militants suffered heavy loss and dislodged towards bordering areas of Afghanistan,” said ISPR director-general, Major-General Asim Bajwa, in his twitter feed. He said the troops were making a steady progress to cleanse the area.

 

He reaffirmed the commitment of armed forces to the military operation which, according to him, would continue with full force till the complete elimination of terrorists.

 

The operation Khyber-2 was started by the army a week ago.
