Pakistan software houses showcase products for first time at CeBIT Australia

ISLAMABAD (APP) – Five Information Technology (IT) companies are participating in CeBIT Australia where the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has established its Pavilion, in the hopes of building investor interest in Pakistan’s IT industry and creating new avenues for IT outsourcing to Pakistan based companies..

This is the first time that CeBIT Australia is hosting the Pakistan pavilion, which is gaining a lot of attention from visitors. Participating countries companies from Pakistan are expected will sign few MoUs during the three-day exhibition.

The Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney, Abdul Aziz inaugurated the first day of the exhibition, According to PSEB here on Thursday, many Pakistani IT companies have not tapped Australia for exports and the goal of the exhibitors and delegates is to inform the relevant Australian stakeholders about opportunities available in Pakistan’s IT industry.

Pakistani Consul General will also host the Pakistan delegation and exhibitors over a dinner on last day of the event.

In addition to exhibitors, a delegation of executives of IT companies is visiting Sydney led by Salman Hassan, Director International Marketing (PSEB) to enhance bilateral cooperation and collaboration between the IT sectors of the two countries.

Exhibitors in Pakistan Pavilion include Inovedia Technologies, F3 technologies, Ebryx, Fiveriver Technologies, TechVista, and PSEB. Delegates are from Maison Consulting, A2Z Creatorz, PureLogix, and Intellexal Solutions.
