LAHORE (Web Desk) – The last Ashra of Ramzan commemces on Sunday evening with a large number of faithful believers opting for Ihtikaf- with men mostly at observing this ritual at mosques and women inside their home.
The last ten days of Ramazan or the third Ashra are considered superior and important as the night of Lailatul Qadar falls in the last Ashra. The odd nights of the Ashra – i.e. 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th -are considered to be sacred nights by Muslims, who believe their prayers for forgiveness will be answered on one of these nights.
