Pervaiz Rasheed announces legal action against Qadri

ISLAMABAD – Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has announced that he will personally initiate legal action against Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri for using abusive language during his party’s rally in Rawalpindi.

In an interview, he said that Tahirul Qadri, who fled the country twice after deceiving the masses, is now doing politics of agitation.

Pervaiz Rashid further said that PAT Chief after gathering money from the world returns home to play his shameful act.

He added that Tahir-ul-Qadri visited India and stayed in the state Gujarat as a state guest while Narendra Modi was the prime minister of India. Qadri had also thanked Modi for hospitality then, the minister said.

On Saturday, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri led thousands of PAT workers from Rawalpindi’s Liaqat Bagh to Murree Expressway demanding revenge for the victims of the Model Town incident under Tehreek-e-Qasas.

Addressing the rally, Qadri called Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif an Indian agent, alleging that over 300 Indian were working at the sugar mills owned by the Sharif Family.
