PM Nawaz arrives in New York to attend UNGA session

NEW YORK (Web Desk) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has on Sunday arrived in New York to go to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session. He will be highlighting the Kashmir issue before the comity of the nations from this prestigious program, reported Dunya News.

Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary said the Prime Minister will address the General Assembly on Wednesday and draw the world attention towards Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.

PM Nawaz was received by Pakistan’s permanent envoy to United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi at the airdrome.

The foreign secretary said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also address a meeting relating to refugees.
