Afridi to serve legal notice to Miandad over Match Fixing allegations

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi is reportedly mulling over sending legal notice to Javed Miandad.

According to Geo News, the former skipper is in touch with legal experts to shame cricket luminary Javed Miandad who alleged the former of involvement in match fixing.

Sources privy to the 36-year-old cricketer said that Afridi would dispatch a legal notice to Miandad by Thursday.

Afridi and Miandad traded barbs on Sunday over the issue of former’s farewell match. Javed Miandad was of the view that the skipper should not be given a farewell match contrary to the wishes of multiple cricket stars.

To this Afridi reacted ferociously and maintained that the remarks of legend were too low. He went on to allege that Miandad’s issue has always been money.

However, the star player expressed his regret over the remarks through a series of tweets posted on his official handle.

Commentators and sports analysts are of the view that both the players had a plenty of experience under the belt and so they should avoid indulging in a petty brawl.
