ISLAMABAD – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Thursday announced a reduction of Rs2.60 per unit in power tariff.
According to NEPRA, the reduction was made under the head of Fuel Adjustment Surcharge (FAS) for the month of October.
Consumers around the country will get benefit of 20 billion rupees from the reduction in power tariff. The decrease in power tariff will be applicable from December billings.
However, this will not be applicable to K Electric consumers.
This relief will also not be provided to the consumers using 300 or more than 300 units per month.
