Day 4: Australia declare on 241 to set 465 target

SYDNEY: Australia declared their second innings at 241 for the loss of two wickets on the fourth day of the third Test giving a target of 465 runs Pakistan in Sydney.

Usman Khawaja was on 79 with Peter Handscomb on 40 at the time of the declaration.

Opening batsman David Warner made the second fastest Test fifty against 23 deliveries before being bowled by pacer Wahab Riaz. Steven Smith also scored a half-century and fell prey to leg-spinner Yasir Shah.

Opener Usman Khawaja remained unbeaten on 79 alongside batsman Peter Handscomb who was 40 not out.

Earlier, Australia declared its first inning at 538 for the loss of 8 wickets. Australia lead the series 2-0.
