Top Indian filmmaker ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ beaten up badly on the set of Padmavati

Well-known Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was slapped, beaten and had his hair pulled by the “Rajput Karni Sena”. The attack occurred on the sets of drama Padmavati. Shri Rajput Karni Sena (SRKS) protestors broke the private security of the set before proceeding to attack the director and vandalize the film’s set.

Bhansali’s attack wasn’t the first on Bollywood, the Indian extremists have always had their reservation regarding Pakistani actors working in Indian film industry. It’s time, Indian film industry as a collective to say ‘enough is enough’. It’s extremely condemnable. The only way to stand up to bullies is to go on the offensive and the industry must come together to put pressure on the government so they could take that target off your back.
