WASHINGTON – As a replacement for Obamacare, Texas Representative Pete Sessions introduced the “World’s Greatest Healthcare Plan of 2017” – the official title of a healthcare plan that begins its long slug through the House and Senate before hitting the President’s desk.
This is just one bill introduced by Republicans who are fighting it out to have a new plan that completely repeals Obamacare.
USA Today quoted a spokesperson of Pete Sessions as saying “This year’s “Greatest Healthcare Plan” has similar tenets with the Obamacare replacement bill, and Sessions supports the proposed replacement”. “His legislation isn’t meant to compete with the American Health Care Act in any way”.
