Pakistani boxer Waseem registers sixth straight win by defeating Panama s Valdez

PANAMA – Hailing from Quetta, Pakistan’s pro-boxer has won International Challenge Fight by defeating Panama’s Eliecer Valdez and registered his sixth straight win.

The two-time silver flyweight champion Muhammad Waseem and topper of World Boxing Council rating knocked out Valdez in the round.

On July 17, 2016, Muhammad Waseem won the World Boxing Council (WBC) silver flyweight title after defeating favourite Jether Oliva from the Philippines. He secured the position in just his fourth fight of his career.

On November 27, 2016, he successfully defended the title by defeating the dangerous Giemel Magramo of the Philippines after a 12-round battle.

On June 11, 2017, Waseem topped the World Boxing Council rating for the top flyweight boxers.

Muhammad Waseem is followed by Mexico’s Francisco Rodriguez Jr. and Great Britain’s Andrew Selby who is at third place.

Known for his quick and swift style of boxing, Muhammad Waseen has been nicknamed ‘Falcon Khan’.
