ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment for early operationalization of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project.
Talking to Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Nurlyevich Movlamov in Islamabad on Monday, he said TAPI project holds huge potential for meeting Pakistan’s energy needs.
The Prime Minister emphasized for attaining optimum level of economic cooperation between Pakistan and Turkmenistan. He said both the countries should set the goal of increased engagement in trade, investment and other areas.
It was appreciated that the two countries are focused on measures for enhanced connectivity to promote trade, travel, and tourism.
