Nawaz Sharif vows to fight legal battle despite victimisation

MURREE – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif vowed on Thursday that he would fight the legal battle initiated against him in the backdrop of Panama Papers case.

In a brief media interaction at his Murree residence, the Pakistan Muslim League President claimed that he was being victimised but hastened to add that he knew why it was being carried out.

“I will not flee but I will fight my case,” he asserted.

The former lawmaker expressed that the love extended by masses for him was a matter of honour which he returned in the same coin.

Sharif declared that the country was moving forward in the right direction expressing the hope that the issue faced by the impoverished class would be resolved soon.

He requested the people to pray for him so he could carry on the ‘mission to serve them’.
