This most loved Sufi track has been copied by Bollywood and clearly justice has not been done to it

LAHORE – Satyameva Jayate, an upcoming Bollywood film, shows John Abraham playing the role of a man who believes in vigilante justice. However no justice has been done to ‘Tajdar e Haram’ which has been adopted by Bollywood borrowed all the way from Pakistan. The Sufi track has been changed into a faster one with beats added to it. It has been sung by Wajid.

Bollywood tends to ruin tracks often that are hits in Pakistan yet they fail to make their mark in India due to changed tunes.

Have a look at the official trailer that has Tajdar e Haram in the background playback.

A complaint has been filed against the film due to public feeling hurt due to certain scenes.

A lawyer privy to the matter revealed, “The procession of Muharram has been depicted in a wrong way in the trailer. Our concerns are that the movie’s plot is based on corruption and the lead role is being played by John Abraham, who is avenging the wrongdoings on him. The makers could have very well completed the film without having a scene with the Muharram procession. The movie’s plot has nothing to do with Muharram. All these things are outraging religious feelings of a particular sect.”

The film is set to be released this year on India’s Independence day, August 15.
