Amidst the serious situation present in major cities of Pakistan it has been really difficult for people to commute from one place to the other. Such was the case with this one girl who shared a really heart touching story of her saviour. An ongoing religious debate has divided people thinking if Asia Bibi should be hanged or is the verdict just. A viral Facebook post read
“After three cancelled rides , I finally found a Careem captain who was willing to take me to Shahra-e-Faisal knowing the risk today. As soon as I sat in the car , I asked him if he’s ok to travel to the other side. His response, “Baaji Koi masla nahi, le jao ga” (Madam no problem I’ll take you). He removed the cross hanging from the rear view mirror, kissed it and hid it. He was a Christian. And he didn’t feel safe on the road. Yet he was willing to make me reach homes safely. Thank you captain Hamid Gill. I feel so ashamed. And proud and ashamed.”
After this post went viral people stared sending in negative and positive comments. Positive because there are still people out there who would do so much for humanity risking their own lives on the other hand people were calling this girl out for faking the incident as she is the brand marketing head for Careem. However she in her recent post cleared everything out for people.
