ISLAMABAD – President of Pakistan Arif Alvi will leave the country on Sunday for a two-day official visit to Turkey.
This will be Alvi’s first ever official trip abroad since taking oath as president on Sept 9.
President Alvi will pay a visit to Turkey on an invitation of the Turkish government to attend the opening ceremony of Istanbul’s new airport.
The Pakistani president will also meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit.
