No change in Beijing policy on Kashmir issue: China

BEIJING - China while showing its concern over Indo-Pak tension has said that Beijing policy on the Kashmir issue has not changed.

According to media reports, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson while talking to journalists here said both Pakistan and India should accelerate the pace of talks on Kashmir issue.

The spokesperson stressed that both countries should avoid any interference by respecting the sovereignty of each other, and emphasised that China wanted to see borders of the both the countries secure.

He further added that both countries should realize that Kashmir issue is holding peace of the region hostage.-Online
