PCB clears Muhammad Amir to play for Pakistan

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that pacer Muhammad Amir, who was previously convicted for involvement in match fixing, is now eligible for selection in Pakistan cricket team.

According to a statement, Amir’s selection into team totally lies on the choice of selectors, however the cricketer has participated in board’s recent training camp.

The statement added that Muhammad Amir has served his punishment time and showed excellent performance in first class cricket. The cricketer also exhibited an impressive return at Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The PCB however said that Muhammad Amir needs to maintain a high level of positive attitude towards cricket and other cricketing fellows.
