KARACHI – Muslims across Pakistan would be celebrating Eid-ul-Azha on August 12 (Monday), announced Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman.
The announcement came after Zul Hijjah moon was sighted across the country; the Islamic month of Zul Hijjah would start from Saturday.
Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry had already said with definitive confirmation that Eid would be celebrated on August 12.

The federal government on Wednesday announced a four-day holiday, from August 12 to 15, on account of Eidul Azha.
