KARACHI – Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah has said that there is no friction between Sindh and federal government over issue of the extension of Rangers’ special powers in the province.
Talking to media after reaching his ancestral town Jamshoro, Murad expressed belief in the service of Sindh province and assured that he would solve the problems of the masses.
Murad also paid a visit to the grave of former Chief Minister Sindh and his father, Abdullah Shah, and offered fateha there.
Earlier, he was received with a rousing welcome by locals as this was his first visit to his hometown Jamshoro after becoming head of the province. On the occasion, Murad urged all the institutions and political parties to help him for the betterment of Sindh.
Murad had earlier approved the extension of Rangers’ special policing powers in the province, granting a year-long stay to Rangers in Karachi while extending their policing powers for 90 days
