LONDON (Web Desk) – Former Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said if democracy keeps clinging to status quo in Pakistan a way for revolution may be paved. Speaking to a TV channel Sarwar said that he intended to resign from the governorship six months ago but had to postpone his plan due to sit-ins in Islamabad. I have planned to join a political party that would form a shadow cabinet, he said. To a question, he said that he had not left Sharif brothers in their difficult times, adding that a revolution might come if democracy didn’t rid itself of status quo.
