Being more productive is what everyone wants in their lives, isn’t it?
We all wish we could pick up the laundry after work, and still have time for gym even after all the meetings and office work.
However, there are 7 daily habits of highly productive people, and they get their work done, no matter what!
Want to know them all? Read on:
- They prioritize:
Highly productive people are known to create to-do lists, in which they write down the work targets, and give themselves deadlines to complete them.
2. They assign timelines:
Highly productive people don’t just make to-do lists, they also set timelines for their goals. They know what they have to achieve by the end of May, by the mid of September, and so on.
3. They set limits:
HPP set limits to their work; whether or not something looks its absolute best is not the ultimate goal for HPP. Their ultimate goal is to get the job done in the given timeline, and they always finish work on time.
4. They control technology:
Smart HPP know how to step away from technology when it’s no longer time to use it! They know that they have a specific time in the day they should be using Facebook or any other social media. HPP check their emails at a specific time on their time tables, and are not slaves to technology.
5. Take breaks:
Highly productive people take breaks after every 90 minutes or so, because they know an individual is far more productive if he/she isn’t feeling restless or overworked. It is important to take tea/water breaks, stretch a little or have a little chit chat with office co-workers every now and then.
6. THEY DON’T MULTI-TASK:
Highly productive people do one thing really well, instead of focusing on four things at a time.
When you’re working on four things at once, you never reap the mental reward and satisfaction of having fully completed something, and you’re also more likely to make mistakes and forget things as your brain goes back and forth amongst multiple areas, and that does not sound like the ultimate dream now does it.
7. They make sleep a TOP priority:
Not having enough sleep makes a person less motivated, slower and lethargic. When you don’t get enough sleep, you’re likely to be less productive. Less than seven hours sleep a night damages the body and mind, so sleep for at least a minimum of 7 to 8 hours daily!
