ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Thursday arranged an international seminar on Nano-material sciences’ to equip the youth with new innovations in the field of science and technology.
The event, arranged by the AIOU Physics Department, Faculty of Science, was attended by a large number of students and resource persons of the local and foreign Universities and deliberated upon Nano-materials, modelling and simulation, said a press release issued here.
It was a part of the research-based activities being arranged by the University on a regular basis.
A day-long seminar was aimed at facilitating the students to undertake quality research work and enable them giving necessary academic input for the country’s socio-economic development.
Earlier, Dean Sciences, Dr Zafar Ilyas highlighted the objectives of the seminar, stating the well-equipped AIOUs’ labs were meeting latest researches need and established at par with international standard.
