Egyptian actress Salwa Mohamed Ali has triggered a new controversy by expressing her desire that her funeral should be taken out from a threatre and then taken to a mosque for her funeral prayers.
Talking on a TV programme, Salwa said she had been strongly attached with the National Theatre. She said that she achieved her dreams there and a lot of her achievement were associated with this theatre.
Salwa says that she’s not afraid of death, but she fears disease. She says she prays to God to protect her from any deadly disease. She says that she is not the first person who has wished that her funeral should be taken out from a theatre; Nour El Din and Tawfik El Deken’s funerals were taken out from theatres in the past.
