According to a report by The Independent, this month’s Vogue Italia cover has received major flak for “darkening” the skins of top models, Gigi Hadid and Justin Martin.
The shoot by noted fashion photographer Steven Klein, has left many fans claiming that Gigi looks “completely unrecognisable” and that the 23 year old supermodel has been accused of “excessive photoshop” and even “blackening” her skin.

She ended with, “I want to apologise because my intention is never to diminish those concerns or take opportunities away from anyone else.” and added that she hopes other magazines learn from this.
