Gold suffers losses for second consecutive day in Pakistan 

KARACHI – Gold witnessed downward in domestic market of Pakistan for second consecutive day amid decreasing global prices on Wednesday.

Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price dropped by Rs1,400 to settle at Rs260,100.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram plunged by Rs1,200 to reach Rs222,994.

The price of the yellow metal also registered significant losses in international market where per ounce price dropped by $17 to settle at $2,41.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in Pakistan as per tola price stood at Rs2,950 in local market.

A day earlier, price of 24-carat gold in the local markets fell by Rs1,000 per tola, settling at Rs261,500. The price of 10 grams of gold also experienced a decrease, dropping by Rs857 to reach Rs224,194.
