Aliens are network of establishment, asserts Musadiq Malik

ISLAMABAD – The spokesperson of Prime Minister, Senator Musadiq Malik has said that the ‘aliens’ were the network of the establishment who “desire to hold the reins of the country in its hands”.

According to media reports, the lawmaker stated that aliens wanted to derail democracy at a time when the civilian rule was flourishing in the country.

Democracy is the best form of government which can help us move forward on the road to progress, he added.

While commenting on Imran Khan’s role in the current political landscape, Malik said that the PTI chief was waiting for umpire’s instruction, whereas the decision to elect the ruler rests with the public.

He asserted that Nawaz’ alien remarks were actually hypothetical, adding that history was tantamount to the presence of such forces which intervened in the politics, but they should come to an end now.

Earlier, the former president Asif Ali Zardari had asked Nawaz Sharif to explain what does he mean by aliens, a term coined by the former premier during the Sahiwal rally.

‘My contest is not with Asif Ali Zardari or Imran Khan, I am leading a struggle against aliens’ Nawaz Sharif had said.

Premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had also weighed in on the matter by saying that aliens would be conducting the next general elections, before being upbraided by the Election Commission of Pakistan that his remarks were unconstitutional.
