MAKKAH – A latest image of former DG ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa taken while he was performing Hajj has caught internet fancy and widely appreciated on social media.
The former head of military’s media wing and close friend of Chief of Army Staff General (retd) Raheel Sharif shared a picture on social networking site, Instagram, in which he can be seen wearing Ihram, a specific clothing for pilgrims, to perform Hajj rituals.
The picture, which was captured at a time when he was along thousands of pilgrims was heading towards Arfat from Mina to perform Hajj rituals, got nearly eight thousand likes on Instagram.
General Raheel Sharif is already in Saudi Arabia to head an Islamic military alliance.
However, there are no media reports regarding any meeting between two old friends, Bajwa and Sharif.
