KARACHI – Gold registered significant recovery in domestic market of Pakistan on Thursday after suffering losses in previous two sessions.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price increased by Rs2,000 to reach Rs262,100.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram surged by Rs1,714 to settle at Rs224,708.
In international market, the price of the precious commodity saw an increase of $22 with per ounce price settling at $2,503.
The price of per tola silver stood unchanged at Rs2,900 whereas the price of 10-gram also remained stable in Pakistan.
A day earlier, gold witnessed downward in domestic market for second consecutive day amid decreasing global prices.
The per tola gold price dropped by Rs1,400 to settle at Rs260,100. Similarly, the price of 10-gram plunged by Rs1,200 to reach Rs222,994.
