SIALKOT – The Airport Security Forces (ASF) on Thursday arrested two passengers for attempting to travel on fake documents at the Sialkot International Airport.
According to an official of the ASF, Sajjad and Faisal wanted to travel Azerbaijan and Peru. During the investigation, they could not produce documentary evidence about their travel plan. In response, the ASF handed over the accused to FIA officials.
The FIA registered a case and started an investigation.
FIA arrests 10 deported Pakistanis
Moreover, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested 10 Pakistanis, who were deported from Turkey, at the Sialkot International Airport, an official said on Thursday.
The deportees had arrived at the airport by a flight of a private airline, the official added.
He said that during the initial investigation, the accused admitted that local human-traffickers had sent them abroad illegally.
The FIA has registered separate cases against them and started an investigation.
