Dramatic entry: KP CM Gandapur appears in assembly session

Kp Assembly Passes Resolution Regarding Cm Gandapurs Disappearance

PESHAWAR – In a dramatic entry, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reached the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Sunday.

Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, in an emergency session, passed a resolution against the disappearance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

The resolution stated that the federal interior minister and the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued to mislead and demanded a report from the speaker.

The emergency session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly began under the chairmanship of Speaker Babar Saleem Swati after a delay of 5 hours, and workers chanted slogans as soon as the session began.

Speaker Babar Saleem Swati said that the Assembly represents the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and there should be a discussion on what has happened over the past two days, with both government and opposition representatives present.

He said that workers were called so they could listen to their representatives, therefore they should listen to the speeches and refrain from chanting slogans. He added that damage was done to the rooms of the Chief Minister and ministers at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad.

During the session, despite the Speaker’s warning, workers continued to chant slogans, prompting the Speaker to warn that if it happened again, they would be removed from the gallery, emphasizing that it was a serious session and no more slogans should be raised.

Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam addressed the session, with the Advocate General also present, and requested that rules be suspended for the resolution. On this occasion, Ahmad Kundi suggested that the resolution be presented unanimously.

The resolution stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is part of the federal republic, and the Speaker should use legal authority to take the House into confidence.

The resolution regarding the disappearance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was passed by a majority vote in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

On this occasion, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati issued a ruling, summoning the Chief Secretary, IG Police, and the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and asked them to report on the actions taken regarding the Chief Minister’s recovery.
