Anti-Narcotics Court extends Rana Sanaullah s judicial remand till Sept 14 in narcotics case

LAHORE – An Anti-Narcotics court in Lahore extended judicial remand of former Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah till September 14 in a narcotics case.

According to media reports, no proceedings of the case were made in the hearing today due to repatriation of Judge Masood Arshad.

Furthermore, no progress has been reported on the ANF’s request to freeze the assets of Sanaullah.

On July 1, the PML-N senior lawmaker and Member National Assembly (MNA) was arrested by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Lahore team while he was travelling from Faisalabad to Lahore. After his arrest, he was shifted to an ANF police station and was charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
