More Trouble For Imran Khan For Orchestrating Violence From Adiala Jail

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founding chairman Imran Khan is facing multiple FIRs for allegedly inciting violence from prison as thousands of his party supporters stormed capital over the weekend.

Khan, 72, was booked in multiple cases for allegedly inciting violence from his prison cell. At least 13 cases have been registered in Islamabad, with additional charges reported in Hassanabdal, and other cities.

The new cases were filed under sections related to sedition, terrorism, and attempted murder. PTI chief misused special privileges granted to him in prison, allowing him to communicate with party affiliates and coordinate recent protests and riots, the FIRs stated.

It accused PTI leader of inciting violent march on the capital, intending to create chaos. Other PTI figures, including KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Omer Ayub and Barrister Mohammad Saif, are accused of inciting violence through provocative speeches.
