LONDON- Three of the participants in the protest outside former Premier Nawaz Sharif’s Avenfield apartment on Monday have been arrested for their involvement in a brawl.
Although PTI Britain chapter disassociated itself from the incident, media outlets are reporting that two PTI workers and a senior leader of the PML-N UK chapter, Nasir Butt were arrested.

Scores of expats, especially the ones belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, assembled outside the Avenfield house on Monday as a show of protest after the graft reference pertaining to the property was concluded by a court in Pakistan.

The protesters attempted to storm the upscale flat of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, where he along with other family members are residing to tend to cancer suffering Kulsoom Nawaz.
A video circulating on the social media shows raged protesters raising slogans and attacking a member of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N), Ejaz Gull, by throwing a shopping cart at him.
In another video clip, some protesters could be seen trying to break through and enter the flats, claiming that the posh property belongs to the taxpaying citizens of Pakistan.
