Ukraine strikes Moscow, other Russian cities in biggest drone attack to date

Ukraine launched an attack with over 100 drones on various areas, including Russia’s capital Moscow, resulting in one civilian death.

Ukraine on Tuesday launched its biggest drone attack on the Moscow region to date, resulting in the death of at least one woman.

According to foreign media, Ukraine carried out drone attacks on several Russian cities late at night. Russia managed to shoot down 144 of these drones.

The report indicates that 20 of the drones sent by Ukraine entered Moscow’s airspace. While the defense system destroyed most of them, the debris from one failed drone crashed into a building, killing a woman.

The report also states that following the Ukrainian attacks, flights were partially suspended at three airports in Moscow, and 48 flights were redirected to other airports.
