KARACHI (Staff Report) – Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal met Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former federal ministerDr Asim Hussain at Jinnah Hospital and conveyed special message from former President Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the details, the meeting took place in special ward of the Hospital. Sources also state that the meeting was kept extremely confidential.
Dr Asim is being tried for assisting terrorists and corruption.
Siyal told Dr Asim that Zardari had asked him to stay calm and directed him to stay in constant touch with senior Pakistan Peoples’ Party leaders.
Zardari and Dr Asim are childhood friends. In an exclusive interview with Geo News Zardari had said, “I called him ‘hare’. I was the one who motivated him to leave Nazimabad and shift to Defence. His arrest is only a tactic to pressurize the PPP.”
