ISLAMABAD (News Desk) – While the public from both India and Pakistan are still in a shock following last week’s sudden developments which melted ice between two countries, the Dawn has reported that foreign secretaries of the neighbouring nations are likely to meet in January to discuss the strategy to begin the new comprehensive dialogue.
Pakistan and India had announced to take fresh start of talks to resolve all bilateral issues after a tw0-minute meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi which was further followed by a two-day trip of Indian  foreign minister Sushma Swaraj to Islamabad.
According to report, the recent efforts in Pakistan and India to bridge the differences between both countries was a result of combined pressure from United States, United Kingdom and Germany.
Although the countries have agreed to begin comprehensive dialogue but the future of any such talks is still ambiguous specially when Pakistan has assured India of a speedy conclusion of Mumbai attack case,” the report added.
Quoting an unnamed source the newspaper said that quick trial of Mumbai attacks suspects would be the biggest obstacle in the path and it would be interesting to see that how Pakistan and India travel such a path.
