World s tallest hotel with roof-top pool opens in Dubai

With 356-meter height and 75 floors, a golden skyscraper in Dubai has clinched the title for the tallest hotel of the world, pipping another towering landmark in the city by just one meter.

The worlds’ tallest single building of Gevora Hotel, which possesses 528 opulent rooms, will be open for guests after a lavish ceremony on Monday evening. The measurements of the building are taken from ground level to the top of a hotel’s mast.

Previous tallest hotel in Dubai, JW Marriott Marquis, is 355m tall with 77-floor and it is just a few minutes-walk from Gevora.

The jaw-dropping tower is seven times taller than Nelson’s column and exactly 50 meters taller than London’s Shar.

The tallest hotel also has four restaurants, an open-air pool deck, a luxury spa on the 71st floor, plus a health club and Jacuzzi.
