India fanning terrorism in Pakistan, says Sartaj Aziz

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Prime Minister’s special Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Saturday said the Indian government was fanning the fire of terrorism in Pakistan by backing militants.

While addressing university student in Karachi, the advisor blamed India for meddling in the internal affairs of Pakistan. Pakistan has prepared a dossier on the role of India in promotion of terrorism in Pakistan and it would be presented to United Nations, he said.

He told student that 90-95 percent of Operation Zarb-e-Azb had been completed and almost all tribal agencies had been cleared of terrorists. He added that the infrastructure of terrorists had been destroyed.

According to Aziz the next phase of the National Action Plan (NAP) would be madrassa reforms.

He said all major political and religious parties share a single opinion on implementation of National Action.
