ADELAIDE (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s opening batsman Ahmad Shehzad got injured during a practice session a day before the clash with India during the world cup 2015. Shehzad was carried to hospital but the injury is not so serious, tells team management.
According to media reports Ahmad Shehzad was practicing routine batting while a ball hit on his elbow and he was shifted to hospital for first Aid. Team management said that Ahmad had got minor injury and x-ray showed that no internal injury has occurred.
Earlier Pakistan’s top opening batsman Mohammad Hafeez was replaced by Nasir Jamshed after he met a serious injury during last ODI match against New Zealand.
